Congratulations Device Technologies on fundraising efforts for Jemma Lee to go towards her athletics. This enabled her to apply for her international licence and travel to Brisbane to go before the International Paralympic Committee Classification panel who only come to Australia once a year to obtain her international classification.
After intensive rigorous testing done by the panel Jemma was successful in obtaining her T/F35 International Classification which was confirmed and now means she will be ranked at a world level and also be able to compete in world championships and her aim the Paralympics one day.
While in Brisbane Jemma competed in the Queensland Open and AWD state championships. This was a very successful meet for Jemma as she broke 2 Oceania records and 7 Australian records and also did 2 PB’s. Jemma is now off to Sydney for the 91st Australian Open and AWD National Championships as she qualified for 2 events.
